Whether capturing the restless energy of the sea, the quiet drama of a storm-lit headland, or the rhythmic geometry of a cityscape, I aim to distil the essence of a scene, rather than merely represent it.

Wales with it’s wild coastlines and shifting skies, provides endless inspiration. The challenge lies not in replicating what i see, but in interpreting it. My paintings are as much about feeling as they are about sight, inviting the viewer to experience a place through colour and form rather than strict depiction.
